"Unfortunately, after much thought, we have chosen not to pursue Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire for the Nintendo Switch system."

The fact that this port was announced in 2018 for Christmas that same year does not surprise many, according to NE. Obsidian was in charge of the basic game, while Red Cerberus was in charge of the console ports, including the Switch.
