WB's artwork has been leaked. Damian Wayne's Batman game in Montreal was canceled

In this Batman Beyond-inspired game, Damian would have taken over from Bruce, but it was discontinued in 2016 to make way for Gotham Knights.

Gotham Knights will be released in 2022 by Warner Bros. Games Montréal, but it wasn't always their first thought after the debut of Batman: Arkham Origins in 2013. The studio researched a game starring Damian Wayne, as seen by art published in recent years, and new pictures arise from time to time; this is what has happened again.

On his ArtStation site, artist Goran Bukvic has a collection of illustrations featuring Batman designs. It's evident from his description that this isn't concept art for the next Batman film, The Batman, but rather for a game that was "canceled a long time ago."

This was a lot of pleasure for me." It doesn't say what the project is called, but everything points to it being a WB initiative. Montréal - in fact, his LinkedIn profile confirms that he worked for the team - with Damian and Bruce, who would have continued the story of Batman: Arkham Knight; in this world, Bruce's son would be in charge of fighting Gotham crime and would have incorporated elements from Batman Beyond / Batman from the Future, including some of the villains.

For no apparent reason, Project Sabbath was canceled.

However, we know that plans altered in 2016 and Project Sabbath, the game's secret name, was shelved in favor of the adventure we know today, Gotham Knights, in which we will control one of Batman's allies, including Batgirl, Robin, Red Hood, and Nightwing, with a focus on cooperative gameplay. 

The Arkham Channel, an account dedicated to following the news of DC Comics games, states, "The graphics fit the description we had years ago." The design of the motorcycle that we would use to navigate through the streets of the city, replacing the Arkham Knight Batmobile, is one of the illustrations.

The reason for its cancellation has never been revealed because it was never formally disclosed, and we have no idea how far along it was in development - no gameplay has yet been leaked -.
