The subject who distributed The Squid Game in North Korea faces the death penalty

Totalitarian governments will never be a role model, regardless of the philosophy on which they operate, and especially not for their radical acts in situations that, from the perspective of other cultures and societies, should not be punishable. Unfortunately, North Korea has issued another warning, this time for the severe punishment that will be imposed on someone who shared the Netflix series The Squid Game.

IN NORTH KOREA, THERE IS A DEATH PENALTY AND PUNISHMENT FOR WATCHING THE SQUID GAME.

According to a report by Radio Free Asia (via Kotaku), a North Korean student who received an illicit copy of The Squid Game and shared it with his classmates was condemned to death. According to the report, this person purchased a USB containing all of the chapters of The Squid Game, a series that is included in all of North Korea's illegal content, and when confronted with the danger of breaching the law, he and five other pupils viewed it at their school.

THE VIEWING OF CONTENT FROM CAPITALIST COUNTRIES IS PROHIBITED BY LAW.

Unfortunately, someone discovered what had occurred and alerted police, who responded quickly by detaining the young people. Following the investigation, it was determined that the student who purchased the USB containing The Squid Game would be executed by firing squad, while the other five classmates would be sentenced to five years of forced labor.

This does not end there, as all of the school's administrative personnel and teachers have been expelled and face a process that might result in them spending the rest of their lives working in mines.

The bold decision to watch The Squid Game, which will cost a person his life, complies with the Law for the Elimination of Reactionary Thought and Culture, which states that viewing information from capitalist countries such as the United States and South Korea is illegal. This rule also makes it plain that anyone found guilty of displaying or disseminating this type of content will face the death penalty.
