Epic Games teases a cooperation with Among Us in Fortnite

There's no denying that Among Us was a hit in the video game business, as evidenced by the fact that it's still going strong after almost a year. Such has been the impact that Epic Games has been inspired to create a Fortnite mode, and it appears that this will not be the end of it, as both companies are reportedly working on an interesting collaboration.

The partnership between Among Us creator InnerSloth and Epic Games with Fortnite did not begin well, as the latter business worked on the Intruders mode for Fortnite with clear influence from Among Us, but did not give the study due credit. Something that disturbed its members was the fact that it was indie.

This, however, is no longer the case, because, as we reported just a few hours earlier, Epic Games revealed its inspiration in Among Us in its new Imposters update.

A COLLABORATION BETWEEN FORTNITE AND US COULD BE ON THE WAY.

But it didn't stop there. Shortly after that, Following Epic Games' remark on Twitter, the game's official account reacted to the acknowledgment with a puzzled expression. The conversation continued, with Epic Games asking InnerSloth if he would be willing to "work on something fun together," to which InnerSloth said yes and requested that the Fortnite agents contact the Among Us crew.

The two companies' connection came to a stop there, and there appears to be no bitterness between them. That said, the venue is excellent for a joint event, as both titles are well-known, and it would be a fantastic way for Epic Games to pay tribute to the game that inspired Imposters, a mode that would go well with the crew members' themed clothing.

We'll have to wait and see if the two companies collaborate in the future. We'll keep you updated.
