Universal Pictures has released the final trailer for the next installment of one of cinema's most enduring horror franchises, as well as a poster and official synopsis.
Following the release of the newest trailer for Halloween Kills in July, Universal Pictures has released the last trailer for the return of serial killer Michael Myers ahead of its October 22 theatrical release. And it is after Halloween night in 2018, the final installment of such a blockbuster horror epic that returns to theaters after more than 40 years since the original delivery, that the legendary psychopath comes to finish his work. We also have the final poster and an extensive official synopsis to go along with the trailer.
Official Synopsis for Halloween Kills
It picks up where the last episode, Halloween Night, left off, directed by David Gordon Green (director of the previous edition) and starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Thomas Mann, and Anthony Michael Hal. “Minutes after Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer), and her granddaughter Allyson (Anti Matichak) locked the monstrous Michael Myers in a cage and burned alive in Laurie's basement, the latter is admitted to an emergency room in a hospital with very serious injuries, convinced that she has finally killed him,” according to the official synopsis for Halloween Kills.
“However, as soon as Michael escapes Laurie's clutches, he returns to his normal slaughter. Laurie prepares to continue defending herself despite the anguish from her injuries, and in the process, she inspires the entire community of Haddonfield to rise up against the demonic beast. The three women get together with other survivors of Michael Myers' initial unfettered onslaught to establish a vigilante gang to try to keep the situation under control and put a stop to him once and for all,” finishes this overview of the narrative.
On October 22, 2021, Halloween Kills will be released in Spanish theaters.
