The Early Access Start Date for Battlefield 2042 has been revealed

Battlefield 2042 has been pushed back from October to November due to a delay. The community is now focusing on November 19, 2021, as the official release date for the standard copy. However, the team communication did not specify when the early access period would begin. We've already figured out the answer.

According to Adam Freeman, EA Studios' lead community manager, early access will begin a week earlier, on November 12th. “We are in the process of updating both websites, as well as working with our collaborators at their respective counters,” Freeman says.

Early Access for Battlefield 2042

Who is eligible for early access? Those who have pre-ordered the Gold or Ultimate editions of Battlefield 2042 in digital format. These bundles feature various extras, such as the ability to play ahead of the ordinary edition's pre-order.

This period will be open to members of the EA Play subscription service who have not purchased a copy of the game. All of them will begin a 10-hour trial on the same day, giving you plenty of time to decide before purchasing the full version.

Until the official release, a public beta is expected to appear at some point. We know they'll reveal more in-depth information in September, though the exact date has yet to be determined. The players who reserve the game will have a lengthier playing time than the others.

Remember that Battlefield 2042 will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and PC on November 19th.
