Tales of Arise is off to a strong start on Steam, with more players than all of the previous releases combined. Tales of Arise has only been on the market for two days, but that is enough time for the players to show that they are having a great time with it. We recently told you that it has already received the highest Metacritic rating of the saga, with an average of 87, and now we can confirm that it is also the most played PC game in the series' history. We were just about to tell you about its high simultaneous players of around 45,000, but as we type these lines, that number has risen to almost 52,000.

To put you in context and demonstrate the title's success, consider the following figures from previous installments of the saga that were released on PC: Tales of Symphonia's high-definition compilation had just over 1,400 players, Tales of Vesperia's definitive edition had 3,451 players, and Tales of Zestiria and Tales of Berseria had around 9,700 and 8,100 unique players, respectively. Even bringing all of their accomplishments together, none of them come close to Tales of Arise's record. Furthermore, user feedback is now quite positive (92 percent ).

Tales of Arise serve as a link between the past and the present.

The game is popular among users, and we agree: in our review (9 out of 10) we were thorough in our assessment, guaranteeing that we are dealing with "an unforgettable game."

“The fluid mechanics, the cinematic exposure of the plot, the fast and intense fighting, the dynamism with which everything is presented, make this a game that not only fans of Tales of, or JRPGs, can enjoy; this could very well be the most mainstream game in its franchise, and it could very well become one of the most popular games in the world,” we conclude.
