The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's Cover Art Has Been Revised for the Next-Generation Release

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's next-generation cover art has been revealed by CD Projekt Red for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. When compared to the original cover art for the PS4/Xbox One versions of the game, Geralt's visage appears to have changed slightly in the cover image.

Aside from the cover image, it was also confirmed that DLC based on the Netflix Original Series would be included as part of the upgrade, with more information to follow. We don't know exactly what will be included in this Netflix DLC at this time, but we can speculate that armor styled by the live-action series will be included.

Previously, the business announced that current owners of the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions of the game will be eligible for a free next-generation upgrade. The initial press release that stated the next-generation upgrade was in the works may be found here.

We're hard at work on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's next-generation edition!

The next-gen edition of the game will have a variety of aesthetic and technological upgrades — such as ray tracing and speedier loading times — throughout the original game, both expansions, and all bonus content.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be available as a separate purchase for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 5, as well as a free update for those who currently own the game on PC, Xbox One, or PlayStation 4.

If you can't wait to play The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, it'll be accessible on PlayStation Now starting in June and will be available until September 6th. This patch looks to be rather exciting for fans of the famous title, with changes such as quick loading rates and even ray tracing promised!
